Diamond Lake Fishery Flourishes:2020 Survey Results

A comprehensive fish survey conducted in spring 2020 assessed the overall health of all fish species in Diamond Lake, with a particular focus on evaluating the success of Walleye stocking and the status of Northern Pike populations.

The findings reveal that Diamond Lake's fish population remains robust despite a minor fish kill in 2019. The lake hosts a diverse array of species with particularly strong growth rates in Walleye. Recent surveys indicate successful recovery and stocking efforts, underscoring a stable and thriving fish community.
