Diamond Lake Association Mission
To promote the education of riparian property owners and lake users of Diamond Lake, Cass County, Michigan about water quality, conservation, pollution, property rights , and water safety;
To support issues that concern the welfare of the lake in general, including but not limited to, the conservation of the water supply in the lake and watershed, the maintenance of the water quality to be safe for recreational uses and conducive to the renewal of fish resources, the prevention of pollution, and the preservation of navigation;
To support the measurement and evaluation of hydrological data at the lake, so that the decisions and actions of the corporation shall be in line with what is best for the lake.
To act as a cohesive body to identify and pro-actively bring issues of interest or concern to all appropriate DLA stakeholders including but not limited to lake residents, lake users, press, and governmental agencies
To act as the “voice of Diamond Lake” utilizing our multiple communication platforms to communicate community events, opportunities for volunteerism, and other items that may be of interest to lake residents and;
To further develop a “Sense of community” around the lake by organizing and coordinating lake-wide activities and events that include all members of the lake community.

Diamond Lake Committees:
Communications Committee – As the voice of Diamond Lake, it provides relevant, accurate and timely information to the Diamond Lake Community.
Lake Preservation Committee – Manages programs such as invasive weed control and aquatic blitz’s to preserve the water quality of our lake.
Water Safety Committee – Implements programs such the low water buoys and boater education to improve safety on the water for the Diamond Lake community.
Membership Committee – Works to grow the membership of the Diamond Lake Association to broaden our collective impact on lake and community issues and opportunities.

Community Relations Committee – Works with community organizations in and around Cassopolis to partner on issues and opportunities that can help members and our neighbors.
Government Relations Committee – Works with government officials and as necessary legal resources to influence legal issues that are important to the lake community.
Fireworks Committee – Plans and organizes the numerous details necessary to orchestrate a spectacular fireworks show on Diamond Lake on or around July 4th.
Community Engagement Committee – Plans and organizes events around the lake that build our overall sense of community and result in stronger relationships for the lake community
