The Diamond Lake Association along with the Cass County Marine Division and Park Shore Marina, will offer a Marine Safety Vessel Check Event to kick off the 2023 Boating season

WHERE: Park Shore Marina

On Saturday, June 3rd, from 10 AM to 1 PM, representatives from the Cass County Marine Division will be available to inspect your watercraft at Park Shore Marina. 

They will review your safety equipment to make sure you meet the legal requirements that keep your vehicle safe and legal.  If your boat passes inspection, you will be awarded a sticker that identifies your vehicle as having passed inspection.  This makes it less likely that you will be randomly stopped on the lake for a safety check. 

Pull your watercraft up to a slip at the Diamond Lake Marina and take advantage of this opportunity.  

A $25 donation may be made after your inspection, which will benefit the Sherriff's department marine patrol division.

- Display of numbers

- Floatation devices

- Ventilation

- Navigating lights

- Registration documentation

- Fire extinguishers

- Backfire flame control

- Overall vessel condition

- Sound-producing device/bell
